ClearEvents - A script to clear all uncleared events for a given host

SYNOPSIS

ClearEvents hostname

DESCRIPTION

ClearEvents will query the EMD for all tests for a specified host which are currently in an alarm state. It then generates an "all clear" event for each test by using the EventsCli interface.

OPTIONS

hostname - The name of a host to clear events for

RESTRICTIONS

1. ClearEvents must be invoked by user dbenl.

2. AgentMon must be running on the same host on which ClearEvents is run.

3. EventsCli must be found in the Enlighten bin directory on the same host on which ClearEvents is run.

4. PEP must be running somewhere on the network.
